Joe Procita
A landing and contact site for Flathead Valley jazz and blues musician Joe Procita, built lean on WordPress. The site has since been retired.
A site I built for Flathead Valley musician Joe Procita. The site has since been retired, so there is no live link.
The site
Joe Procita is a Flathead Valley jazz and blues musician who plays guitar, keyboard, accordion, harmonica and percussion. He needed a simple place for venues and listeners to learn about him, see where he was playing each week, and get in touch.
What was built
- A landing and contact site in WordPress, with home, about, blog and contact pages.
- A schedule bar across the top of the site listing his regular weekly gigs.
- Some styling written by hand in CSS rather than added through plugins, to keep the site light.
- Self-hosted on an Ubuntu server at DigitalOcean.
Status
The site has since been retired and is no longer online. These screenshots were taken while it was live. Joe’s personal contact details have been cropped out.
What this means for your business
For a performer, tradesperson or one-person business, a small site like this is often all that’s needed: who you are, where to find you, and how to book you. It is the same scope as the Local Launch Page.
