Maintenance with written limits
Websites need small, regular attention: updates, backups, a check that the contact form still sends. The plans below cover that, and say plainly what they do not cover, so there are no surprises on either side.
Maintenance Basic is $20 a month, Maintenance Pro is $50 a month, both month to month. Hosting, paid plugins and larger changes are not included. Extra work is billed at the rate in your quote, and I tell you the cost before starting.

Do you need one?
Plan, or help when you need it?
If any of these are true
- The site runs on WordPress or uses plugins
- It brings in leads or sales every week
- You change prices, menus or schedules often
- Nobody on staff would notice if it went down
If these are true
- It is a static site that rarely changes
- You only need a change two or three times a year
- Your host already handles updates and backups
Ad hoc work is quoted per job, with no monthly fee.
Questions
Maintenance: common questions
Does Code Hawk offer website maintenance?
Yes. Maintenance Basic is $20 a month and covers updates, uptime monitoring and backups. Maintenance Pro is $50 a month and adds up to 30 minutes of content edits each month, a quarterly health check and a faster reply. Work outside the plan is billed at the rate in your quote.
Can you maintain a site you did not build?
Usually. I start with a one-time review to check the site is up to date, backed up and not compromised. Anything that needs fixing first is quoted separately, then the monthly plan begins.
Is there a contract?
Plans are month to month. Cancel with 30 days' notice and I will hand over every login and the latest backup.
Is maintenance for custom software the same?
No. Custom applications have their own servers, databases and dependencies, so each one gets a maintenance agreement priced for that system. The website plans on this page are for websites.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
On either plan I restore the site from the most recent clean backup and update whatever was exploited. A deeper cleanup, where the infection predates the backups, is quoted separately.
Next step
Want someone keeping an eye on your site?
A few sentences is enough to start. I will reply within one business day with questions or a rough price, and there is no charge for the first conversation.
