Pricing

Starting prices for the common jobs, what each one includes and leaves out, and how the rest is quoted. These are estimates for the scope described. After a short conversation you get a written quote, and that quote is the price.

Terms

How quotes, payment and ownership work

The short version: written quote first, you own what you pay for, and third-party costs are yours and disclosed up front.

Are these final prices?

No. They are starting prices for the scope described. After a short conversation you get a written quote, and the quote is what you pay. If something changes partway through, you get a revised quote before any extra work starts.

How is payment split?

Half to start and half at launch for website packages. Larger projects are billed by phase.

Who owns the site?

You do. Once the final invoice is paid you own the design, content and code built for you, and your domain, hosting and Google accounts are registered in your name, with me added as a user. Licensed parts, such as paid themes, plugins and stock photos, stay under their own licenses.

How many rounds of changes are included?

Two rounds of revisions on the design and two on the finished pages. More rounds are fine and billed at the quoted rate.

Do you write the content?

You supply the facts: services, prices, hours, photos. I shape them into clear page text and fix structure for search. Writing everything from nothing, or arranging a photographer, is an add-on.

What costs are not included?

Domain registration, hosting, business email, paid plugins or apps, booking software, payment processing fees and advertising. These are billed by the provider to you, and I will tell you what each one costs before you sign up.

Do I have to buy a maintenance plan?

No. Plenty of small sites run for months without needing anything. A plan makes sense for WordPress sites, which need regular updates, and for sites that bring in leads every week.
